Working with Dutch street furniture specialists Samson UE, Furnitubes' distributor in the Netherlands, Furnitubes supplied 3.9m-long OSSO benches as part of the refurbishment of the historic central railway station in Maastricht.

The city architect selected OSSO as he wanted to create the feeling that the basalt cobblestones are extending above the surface and are captured in the benches. The high-profile shopping destination also required security-conscious seating with no space to hide bags making OSSO the perfect solution.

The raw bronze colour was chosen to reflect the quality of the retail area.
