Working directly with the buyers on this job, ASF specified a product, producing pre-approval drawings. Working directly with the buyers on this job, ASF specified a product, producing pre-approval drawings.
The grilles were approved and manufactured in stainless steel sheet, that was first profiled into the pattern shape and then folded to form an outer support frame and three internal tray sections to house the specified paving.
As with all ASF tree grilles, the inner sections are completely removable allowing full access to the tree rootball if necessary.
Once installed, the contractor filled the internal aperture with water-permeable resin bound aggregate.
Outcome
The tree grille produced by ASF maximises the paving area, taking the walkable surface right up to the tree itself.
