Challenge

ASF was approached with a mood board and general drawings for a large planter/seat, with a brief dictating that the planter should be made from corten steel, and that part of the circumference could be used as a seat.

Solution

ASF produced drawings showing a planter with a split height whereby the highest point could house timbers for seating.

The product was manufactured in modules so that it could be bolted together on site. This made for an easier installation as well as affordable transportation.

The seat slats were manufactured from chunky iroko hardwood timbers.
