Bridgefield Park and Play Area in Kingsnorth, Kent is a new natural park courtesy of eibe Play. The £100,000 scheme finally came to fruition nearly two years after eibe's initial consultations with BDP Architects in 2016.
Now, thanks to the hard work of Ashford Borough Council’s Play & Open Spaces Project Officer, Amanda Scott, and landscaping specialists, ID Verde, the park has become the first play area of its kind to be commissioned in the borough for 20 years.
Officially opened to families on 30th June 2018, the Iron Age themed zone features a Robinia climbing unit with tubular slide, various swings, seesaw, DDA roundabout, zip wires and play tractor.
Natural-looking playspaces are eibe Play's forte and the company can work with clients to create something wholly unique that blends in seamlessly with the environment.
