Context

NatraTex Cotswold bound surfacing was supplied to Hawley Drive in Leybourne Chase, West Malling where it was used to surface access roads within a new Taylor Wimpey development.

Work undertaken

The existing surface was planed off and replaced with NatraTex Cotswold, leaving an aesthetically pleasing finish to the new development. As well as being pleasing to the eye the product offered significant programme savings when compared to other aesthetic installations.

Product used

NatraTex Cotswold gets its name from the Cotswold aggregate used to create it. Little pigment is added to the mix specification so that the natural colour can shine through. Due to this, NatraTex Cotswold ages beautifully, as the natural aggregate becomes progressively more exposed as it weathers.

NatraTex is durable, colourful and versatile and can be used on either roads, footpaths, cycleways or bus lanes.

Sharing very similar characteristics to that of a conventional macadam, it is laid at the same depth and on the same sub layers (base and binder course).
