The school contacted NBB School Shelters as it needed a canopy to be attached to the outside of the early years classrooms enabling their outside play area to be extended. It was recommended that the most suitable option would be a Winterbourne free-standing shelter measuring 9250(l) x 4000(d) x 2750/2350mm(h), finished in White RAL9003.

The school also purchased a couple of junior picnic tables manufactured from 100% recycled plastic, which are guaranteed to last up to 25 years.

NBB worked with the school to provide the most suitable structure for their purpose. The installation took place during the school holidays so that there would be no disruption to the children during school hours.

Outcome

The finished shelter looks good and as it is covered by a 25-year life maintained guarantee it will continue to serve the school for many years to come.
