Engraved timber picnic tables, seats and bins for park

Fitzpatrick Woolmer combined their robust oak park furniture with their ability to permanently engrave text and images to develop a unique memorial bench and complementary picnic tables, litter bins and benches incorporating wildlife and fauna
Broadwater Park, south of Guildford in Godalming, covers 73 acres of grassland complemented by a large ornamental lake that visitors can walk round. The park is open all-year-round and includes an enclosed play area, multi-use games area, football and cricket pitches, and tennis courts.
Requirement
Waverley Borough Council identfied a specific area in which they wanted to install picnic tables and benches and litter bins that would be particularly eye-catching and that was stylised to make reference to its surroundings.
Work undertaken
