Tipner Park and Ride is one of the first things visitors see when arriving at Portsmouth and, as such, needed to be aesthetically pleasing, while at the same time being extremely hardwearing to cope with the large amount of traffic it was expected to receive. Solution
DekorGrip Resin Bound surfacing was chosen as it met the needs of this project, with different colours being used in different zones. The contrasting blends were used to demarcate the pedestrian areas from the bus routes and car parks.
Outcome
The project proceeded smoothly without any major challenges, primarily due to the good relationship that DekorGrip had built up with the Council and contractors on previous projects.
The finished project provides a modern and stylish look, and met all necessary requirements.
