Context

GoPlastic manufactured and supplied Normandy bin bays made from solid recycled plastic profiles to Lambeth Housing Association in London. The new bays replaced the existing timber fencing which could not withstand bins banging into it, and had quickly broken and rotted.

Normandy bin bays

Normandy bin bays are extremely robust, will not splinter, crack or rot, and are maintenance-free.

Panels are available in various heights and colours and come with either ground sockets or extended legs for anchorage.

The louvre-style panels prevent the build up of unpleasant smells in the bin areas and can be easily jet-washed.

Outcome

The residents are delighted with their new bin bays as they have completely changed the aesthetics of the area with bins now being out of sight. Another plus is the increased room for parking now the bins are not spread across the area.
