Context

Preston City Council undertook the regeneration of Grade II listed Moor Park in Lancashire, including the revamp of the skate park.

Work undertaken

The skate park now includes a curved bench built into a low railing that formed the perimeter of the park.

Although this is standard item of street furniture, Benchmark was asked to slightly adapt the design to include a larger external tube as well as a box section leg to co-ordinate with other aspects of the project.

Along with the design changes, Benchmark offered a galvanised finish to match the railings.

Many elements of the company's street furniture and finishes can be adapted to meet the individual requirements of clients.
