Good Directions was tasked with removing and refurbishing the clock tower that stood on top of the AA's headquarters in Guildford.
Once the clock tower was at Good Directions' factory is was waterproof tested to ensure it was safe and suitable to be sited on the new building that would be built on the original site.
After the tower had been fully checked and tested Good Directions was then tasked with making any repairs as well as replacing the clock dials which had seen better days, fit new mechanisms and LED illumination inside the tower to backlight the dials.
The tower was then re-installed on top of a custom-made base adding additional height to ensure it was still visible from the road. Good Directions produced this base in steel then covered it in patinated copper to match the original tower.
