IOTA was commissioned to supply 5 zintec steel planters, powder-coated to Tiger Drylac C34 to match the new frontage they had completed for the Bedford Hotel in London WC1. The most striking planters were 1980mm diameter asymmetric cones, step-folded to create the complex form
The Bedford Hotel is one of seven unique properties within the Imperial London Hotels portfolio, all of which are located in the heart of Bloomsbury. Challenge
IOTA was commissioned to supply 5 zintec steel planters, powder-coated to Tiger Drylac C34 to match the new frontage they had completed for the Bedford Hotel in London WC1.
Solution
The most striking planters were 1980mm diameter asymmetric cones, step-folded to create the complex form. These planters were designed by Green Zone Design, and commissioned by Scotscape Landscaping – who was responsible for the green wall installation and pavement remodelling, which also formed part of the hotel’s exterior refurbishment.
