When a new free school at Maiden Erlegh was planned and located next to Reading UTC, the Architects (Stride Treglown) and the Landscape Architects, (Greenhalgh Associates) wanted to continue the external areas using the same palette of materials as the UTC as they were performing so well. The design created a pleasing, side wide visual effect. Liaison with the professional site team has resulted in a great facility.
