BC pedestals for paving and decking are adjustable and versatile. A new method of spacer tabs separates pavers and decking and allows adequate water run-off for the application. The spacer tabs can rotate 360° with 20 location points on the head of the pedestal which makes the system uniquely flexible.

Decking pedestals

Designed for all types of decking options including timber, composites and plastics.

The joist cradle can accommodate up to 110mm-wide joists, offer larger joist centres, and offer commercial loadings required on demanding installations.

Additional attachments for cross joists to create a grid pattern if required.

Paving pedestals

Accommodates all dimensions of paving, and all material options, including; natural stone, concrete products, porcelain, and timber tiles.

Spacer tabs are available in 2, 3, 4.5, 6, 8 and 10mm.

The spacer tab's ability to rotate 360° with 20 location points on the head of the pedestal allows any paving layout, including circles arcs, odd shapes etc.

LOCK IT DOWN WITH A U-WASHER

A great way of tackling wind uplift is through use of our Wind Resistance Discs (U-WASHER)This reliable fixing physically locks pavers to the head of the pedestal, securing everything in place. The disc sits flush on the pavers and comes in 7 different colours so you can customise the look of your outdoor space. You can match the disc with your pavers or go for a contrasting colour to make your project stand out.

The U-WASHER is compatible with all our standard ranges but a different fixing product will be needed depending upon which paver is being used. PB-KIT-1 works with PB and BC ranges. For all ranges, 4.5mm thick spacer tabs are required as a minimum to accommodate the width of the screw.

If your scheme requires a seamless look, there are hidden-clip systems available, but these tend to be mechanical fixes that require the sides of tiles to be grooved, and this can mean a tile's edges reduced to 8mm or less on a 20mm porcelain tile.  This can considerably weaken tiles with the potential to cause breakages.
