Challenge

Langley Design was asked to provide a green-roofed cycle shelter plus bin stores for a high-quality unit at the Stockley Park development in Hillingdon.

Solution

The timber-framed cycle shelter with slatted, clad end walls and sedum roof also includes built-in planting systems on each end for planting climbers to further blend the shelter into its surroundings.

Large bin stores were also constructed using the same timber wrapped around a galvanised steel frame to provide a more aesthetic and secure area to store multiple Eurobins.

Outcome

The project was designed, manufactured and installed by the Langley Design team and the finished provision perfectly matched the visual as envisaged by client and architect.
