Terram Standard - nonwoven geotextiles for filtration and separation

Terram Standard geotextiles can be used to provide ground stabilisation in the construction of roads and hardstandings, and filtration within granular drainage and SuDS systems.

They are extensively used in stabilisation and drainage applications to provide separation and filtration functions, preventing the intermixing of granular layers and the ingress of fines. Their use ensures an improved performance and design life of granular layers.

Available in a range of tensile strengths and permeability characteristics.

The range also includes NorGeoSpec accredited geotextiles (product grades NGS2, NGS3 and NGS4).

Composition and manufacture

Non-woven geotextile manufactured from UV-stabilised, high-tenacity, virgin polypropylene fibres, by mechanical and thermal bonding.
