Resin bonded surface creates grand entrance at Ascot
DekorGrip Resin Bonded surfacing system was chosen as a suitable finish to complement the grand and prominent Royal entrance at Ascot, reserved for Her Majesty the Queen. This surfacing was to be installed through a large part of the site, including the main gates to the course. DekorGrip Resin Bonded was an ideal solution as it could be laid swiftly and easily.
Ascot is one of the country's leading racetracks with the world famous Royal Ascot taking place once a year at the prestigious track. The need for the facilities and the grounds to be pristine and immaculate at all times is a top priority. Tradition has it that only the Queen, or the reigning Monarch, is permitted to pass through the main gates at the entrance to the Ascot Racecourse. This means the gates are seldom open, but when they are, it is of significant importance that the surface the other side is fit for a Queen.
Solution
A 1-3mm graded, Brittany Bronze, DekorGrip Resin Bonded surfacing system was chosen as both a suitable and beautiful finish that would complement this grand and prominent entrance, reserved for Her Majesty the Queen. This was to be installed through a large part of the site, including the main gates to the course. DekorGrip Resin Bonded was an ideal solution as it could be laid swiflty and easily.
Outcome
Installation was carried out and completed by one of DekorGrip’s approved installers. With help from the DekorGrip team, the project met its planned completion date, and kept well within the design and cost parameters.
