Solution
Part of the design concept was for S-shaped benches and, given the company's knowledge of curved street furniture, Benchmark was asked to come up with some designs.
The Baseline range can be configured to any curvature and length so fitting it in to the narrow space was no problem. A further consideration was the incline of the High Street so much longer legs were designed to accommodate these changing levels.
Other features include small studs on the outer edges and armrests to deter skateboarders.
The benches were finished in a tough black Plascoat to complement the other elements of this revitalised High Street.
