HVM roadblockers and bollards for National Rail
A key National Rail company contacted Frontier Pitts with a requirement for security products that would protect particular sites nationwide that were deemed critical assets to their infrastructure, and therefore particularly vulnerable. PAS 68 Terra Blocker; PAS 68 Static Terra Neptune Bollards
A key National Rail company contacted Frontier Pitts with a requirement for security products that would protect particular sites nationwide that were deemed critical assets to their infrastructure, and therefore particularly vulnerable.
Frontier Pitts designed, manufactured and installed roadblockers and bollards at the sites. Preliminary work included detailed VDA's (Vehicle Dynamic Assessments) to understand the potential threat to the individual sites.
The HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation) Terra Blocker and Terra Neptune Bollards were installed to provide CT (counter terrorist) protection to the perimeter fenceline and main access gate. The perimeter line has been installed with 1200mm gaps between upright faces in accordance with IWA14 / PAS69 installation guidelines.
