Frontier Pitts has designed, manufactured and installed two FBX automatic rising arm barriers with special infills at Wellington College to provide traffic control to the estate.
Founded in 1859, Wellington College, based just outside London, is one of the world's top co-educational day and boarding schools, combining innovation with 150 years of history.
As an existing client of Frontier Pitts, Wellington College requested the installation of a further two FBX automatic barriers to secure the entry and exit lanes. The rapid-action torque motor barrier provides 100% duty rating and is designed for continuous and frequent use.
The college specified that the automatic barriers were to be manufactured with a yellow and black finish, and should utilise the existing access control.
A maintenance contract gives the school management peace of mind.
