Frontier Pitts designed bi-parting entry and exit gates for a small service yard with restricted access and ground slope.

There was not enough room for sliding gates at both the entrance and exit due to runbacks required by larger gates.

Solution

Frontier Pitts therefore devised the following solution:

Entry - 1 x bi-parting pair of sliding gates with an automatic hinged gate, powered with a gate back actuator
Exit - 1 x bi-parting pair of sliding gates

The layout included an overlap of the sliding gates runback so that the gates would fit.
