Context
Pomery Natural Stone supplied over 1500m2 of flamed Black Zimbabwe natural stone paving, cladding and skirting to Crossrail Station, Canary Wharf. The development forms part of the 73-mile, £15billion cross-London railway line.
Products supplied
The uniform colour of the black basalt (Black Zimbabwe) balances the wide palette of soft landscaping.
Flamed paving in 160mm gauged widths and varying lengths was supplied, and subtle changes in paving level flow throughout the project.
Careful detailing of the seating includes internal radius cladding, also in flamed Black Zimbabwe basalt.
Discreet low level lighting has been incorporated into the seating upstands.
