With a proposal for the introduction of new street furniture on the busiest street in Bristol, space was at a premium.
With this in mind, Benchmark Design was asked to modify their most popular seat, the Centerline CL003, to a shortened version. All of the company's street furniture is made to order, so with a simple tweak of the design, they were easily able to offer a bespoke yet cost effective solution.
For this project Benchmark created two 1500mm Centerline seats and, given the prominent and busy location, it was decided to finish the CL003s in reinforced polyurethane, giving a much tougher surface finish.
