Trinity Square, adjacent to the Tower of London, required a number of new litter bins that would fit in with the other street furniture elements in this iconic location.

Having worked with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on a number of projects, Benchmark Design was happy to provide designs that would meet their requirements.

Trinity Square has a large footfall passing through it so extra capacity was needed. A design derived from Benchmark Design's Baseline and Shoreline street furniture using a combination of 316 stainless steel and iroko hardwood was chosen and the capacity increased to accommodate a 140 litre inner liner.

In addition, a skirt at ground level was added to deter rodents.

Due to Benchmark Design's manufacturing technique the company can produce and design bespoke products without adding extra costs, allowing clients to create a truly unique item of street furniture.
