Lorenz von Ehren supplied trees for the luxury apartments in NEO Bankside, London.
The planting resulted in tranquil, tree-lined gardens that blend private green spaces, seasonal fruit trees, beehives and a well-stocked herb garden with linear groves of aspen and birch.
The scheme offers two benefits:
- The varied landscaped open spaces and paths of the residential area NEO Bankside serve as a public park.
- The green axes create a connection between the residential areas with the Tate Modern on the River Thames, which is used during the daytime.
Trees used
- Quercus robur (English oak)
- Alnus incana 'Laciniata' (Cut-gray alder)
- Betula jacquemontii (Himalayan birch)
- Gleditsia triacanthos 'Skyline' (Honey locust)
