Trinity Methodist Church in East Grinstead was built in 1938 and has become a landmark building in the area. In February 2014 work started to demolish the old church and replace it with a new modern place of worship. With its increased capacity, the multi-use building has been designed to provide a state-of-the-art performance venue for music, dance, drama, meetings, and other suitable events.

Addagrip approved contractor Total Protection (GB) Ltd was appointed to install a new car park surface and pedestrian walkways as a part of this process. A practical resin bound system with a contemporary look was required to complement the modern new building.

Two colours of resin bound Terrabound surfacing were used in the design of the car park – Rhine Gold for the pedestrian areas and Trent to delineate the parking bays. Definition was enhanced with the installation of an aluminium edge beading detail.

Total Protection (GB) Ltd installed a total of 6 resin bound areas resulting in a low maintenance, hard wearing, porous surfacing to reflect the modern, clean lines of the contemporary new church.

Work was completed in time for the official opening in May 2015.
