Furnitubes' design team worked closely with project contractors Willmott Dixon and architects BDP who were keen to encourage open welcoming spaces for students and members of the public to sit, eat & socialise.

Part of the solution included a bespoke Elements Podium platform, manufactured in iroko timber slats with steel supports. The platform created informal seating to encourage interaction and socialisation amongst students.

Also supplied were a number of contemporary seats and benches including four Elements seats with iroko timber slats with steel frames and supports in a galvanised finish, along with four Fortis seats in a standard grey mix with acid etched finish to complement the modern development. Neo seats were also selected to suit the character of the scheme.
