This is exhibited perfectly in the Type B cycle rack, designed to be the best option for areas where space is at a premium. The single sided rack fits against a wall or a shelter while the alternating high and low cycle holders reduce the space required in between the bicycles from 500mm to a mere 305mm.
When paired with a 3.5m AUTOPA cycle shelter you can fit in twelve bicycles, as opposed to the eight you can with Sheffield Cycle Stands.
