Massey & Harris was asked by Stockeld Park in Yorkshire to design a large cantilever swing. When the client became aware that all three swings could be designed and manufactured together, they commissioned the manufacture of the Nessie swing set.
Larger diameter steel section was used for the arch and cantilever swings along with Massey & Harris' own steel universal joints. 1.2 and 1.0m diameter nest seats were fitted.
The galvanised beams were powder coated and the head was created on site by their own artist, with the finishing touches including green spots and scales.
