Woodscape have been selected to design and manufacture a bespoke LBSH 112 Square Litter Bin for the new Stonehenge Visitor Centre, to help maintain cleanliness and quality of environment. The naturally very durable hardwood LBSH 112 Litter Bins have lockable compartments and single and double-hinged stainless steel lids and lettering. Smart wifi hardware and compact storage was incorporated in order to help visitors around the site.

Woodscape also designed and manufactured hardwood Grit Bins, finished to a high quality with stainless steel handles, which bring continuity with the outdoor furniture.

The new Visitor Centre was a once in a lifetime development for this sensitive historic site. Denton Corker Marshall Architects designed the building to sit lightly in the landscape, with minimal impact. Its chestnut, steel, zinc and glass materials, along with the gentle wave of the roof canopy, are designed to provide an elemental appeal that complements the natural setting, resembling trees and connecting with the solid integrity of the stones.
