In collaboration with James Blake Associates and J L Knight Roadworks, IOTA were commissioned to design, manufacture and supply a total of 22 bespoke planters in a variety of scales and complexities for a unique residential development by Telford Homes in London.

A combination of arc-planters, complex asymmetrical planters and rectangular tree planters were designed to fit the site in dimensions ranging from 1500mm – 2000mm square and 600mm (h) to 4600mm x 4000mm asymmetrical.

Each planter was constructed using 1.5mm Zintec steel with a polyester powder coating in RAL 7012 (Basalt grey) but given the complexity and scale of each unit, the planters were internally strengthened via a framework of vertical stiffeners and cross-bracing, with tree planters including steel eye bolts as anchor attachment points.
