Challenge
The White Rose Office Park is a 27-acre business park three miles outside Leeds. It is the original home of telephone banking in the UK and is owned by a dynamic, hands-on property company that has transformed the development over the last 10 years.
The property is managed by Munroe K Asset Management who has an in-depth knowledge of the requirements for its clients and local area.
White Rose Office Park is a challenging and continually evolving site, requiring a hands-on and flexible approach to working – particularly within a large team of external professionals.
The Manchester-based architects working on this scheme were looking for a simpler and better perimeter solution for the new HSBC call handling centre which incorporated a ground floor car park. The criteria was clear: simple and concise, the chosen system had to be open for ventilation, provide good security and have the right look aesthetically.
Solution
CLD Fencing Systems' UniGril range was selected as the it provided everything the client and architect required.
The Safeogril™ system, part of the UniGril range, was selected by the architects to secure the ground floor parking lot and provide a facade. Safeogril™ was easy to fit to the structure during construction, due to its versatile build combinations and its ability to be built up very high.
The ground floor car park was an example of how Safeogril™ can be used to combine security and aesthetics.
The scheme also included the Securus Flat™ panel system installed to the rear of the car park, where aesthetics were as high a requirement, and more secure compounds for plant / control equipment had to be constructed.
An approved contractor installed the product and worked with CLD the manufacturer, the main contractor and the architect for the duration of the process. This provided full continuity between all parties. Collaboration with a CLD approved contractor is key to delivering a project successfully.
Outcome
The outcome was excellent and everyone was very pleased with the overall result. The installer commented: "a very cost effective system and easy to install".
This project was challenging and everyone worked hard to achieve the results. CLD's manufacturer support and the installer's experience delivered this project on time and within budget.
