This Leicester BSF project had a wide range of products that ensured the pupils have excellent external learning and socialising areas. The Client Manager wanted to compliment the strong design of the school with modern, hardwearing and low maintenance canopies and furniture. We developed our Sheldon Outdoor Canopy so that it had a large clear span area to cover tables and benches, to enhance the visual we used coloured polycarbonate roofing. The benches and tables have recycled plastic slats that are ideal for heavy use. They have been well received, so much so that additional benches and litter containers have subsequently been purchased by the school direct. As the benches are plinth mounted no foundations are necessary so they can be placed out quickly with no disruption.
