A sensory area is has been installed at Little Harbour Hospice, Porthpean, Cornwall, which is owned and run by the charity Children’s Hospice South West. The space will use texture, water, sounds, light and colours to stimulate children’s senses as they move around the area.

Our approved contractor Quality Marking Services Limited were appointed to install smooth, colourful, low maintenance Resin Bound surfacing. They used 3mm Blue Addacolor, 3mm Grey Addacolor and 6mm Yellow Cream Addaset. The works were carried out over a two day period and included a Rotary Club wheel emblem using 3mm Grey Addacolor, 3mm Ash Addabound and 6mm Oyster Addabound.

The design work was carried out by Architects David Wilson Partnership Limited and the landscaping carried out by Mid Cornwall Landscaping Ltd.

The official handover is in November after all of the additional sensory equipment has been installed.
