The £1.2m project was won by Architype whose philosophy is “to be bold and honest in the use and expression of materials, rooted in environmentally sustainable design and based on simple strong ideas”

The £1.2m project was won by Architype whose philosophy is “to be bold and honest in the use and expression of materials, rooted in environmentally sustainable design and based on simple strong ideas”.
Lang+Fulton was asked to supply non-climbable, Novara-34 barrier fencing, adjacent to the ramp which provides wheelchair-friendly access. The 1250mm wide grating panels and 130x15mm flat bar posts with base plate fixings were specified by the architect to accommodate any potential loading to the fencing. Entrance gates were made to match with provision for intercoms.
