Vinci Construction contracted Total Protection (GB), and Addagrip approved contractor, to install a 160sqm Terrabound Resin Bound pathway next to the Queen Victoria Memorial in St James’s Park, London, opposite Buckingham Palace.
The brief was to provide a low maintenance surface that would complement the existing walkway and assist in the elimination of weed growth.
Solution
Following the application of an anti-fungicide coating and poly modified screed, a 6mm Rhine Gold Terrabound Resin Bound porous surface was installed, providing a smooth, seamless, hard wearing and decorative finish.
Due to expected movement from the existing flagpoles, a mastic sealer was applied to the interface and flexible joints were installed to minimise potential variations in movement.
