A unique custom architectural concrete piece was commissioned that incorporated a large bench and shelter in one piece.
The design plays with the limits of concrete as a material – it was necessary for it to appear aesthetically friendly and include graphic effects while remaining durable and functional.
Solution
The bespoke bench and shelter was supplied in white architectural concrete in a length of 6600mm.
The weight of the whole construction is about 19 tons.
Outcome
The piece was a technological challenge for Urbastyle's, creative and graphic designers, as well as the mold makers and assemblers.
