This children's playground in a neighborhood in Genofte, Denmark, required a custom concrete bench to surround it and create an island effect. The elements required safe rounded corners to give a soft aesthetic, as well as alternating colours. Solution
Benches were manufactured for the playground in architectural concrete in anthracite, grey and yellow colours in a finerro finish.
Outcome
The products serve both as a bench to sit on as well as a to delineate the path. They also serve as protection against runaway vehicles and keep balls from escaping onto the nearby road.
The succesful integration of the product into the project led to beautiful, practical and aesthetic success.
