ECO alternatives available from Ultrascape

With this in mind, consider Ultrascape’s ECO products; they’re great alternatives without compromising quality or performance, or blowing the budget!

Ultrascape’s fine bedding mortar, Pro-Bed HS and flowable grout, Flowpoint are both available in ECO versions. Their formulations have been adjusted to include 20% recycled material. Furthermore, Pro-Bed HS is also available to purchase in bulk silo or bag, addressing supplementary sustainability and environmental issues such as haulage concerns (carbon footprint) and packaging disposal (waste to landfill).

An ever increasing number of cities and councils across the UK are choosing Ultrascape’s ECO alternatives including Salford City Council’s Greengate scheme, Bradford Council’s Mirror Pool, Lime Street Station in Liverpool, Gwynedd Council’s Bangor and Caernarfon regeneration projects. The products are also available through Builders Merchants such as EH Smith.

As the products contain 20% recycled material this significantly reduces the consumption of virgin aggregates. The products are therefore ideal for schemes looking to achieve an ‘excellent’ CEEQUAL award, or where a BREEAM assessment is to be conducted on your building.

In addition, Ultrascape have recently reviewed their joint protection range and now have available a solvent-free liquid sand stabiliser, surface sealant and chewing gun adhesion inhibitor.
