Many of our projects are ongoing as one phase is completed another begins often over many months and in some cases years.
Many established schools, universities, golf courses, business parks and country estates increasingly see tree moving as a cost effective way to utilise overcrowded woodland areas to enhance new developments on their sites and Practicailty Brown provide this service, together with introducing new multi-transplanted trees from Practicality Brown’s preferred growers throughout Europe.
Buckinghamshire Golf Course: the 7th and 11th fairways.
On a very cold January day, working together with the course manager Simon Graham and his groundsman, our 1.6m tree spade machine and operatives selected suitable specimens from areas of densly planted trees on the golf course and transplanted them to carefully planned and marked out positons on the two fairways.
The trees will be watered for two summers, and the guying systems removed after the same two years .
The rtransplanted trees should then be fully established.
