Catcastle Grey sandstone for Stirling Castle restoration

Catcastle Grey sandstone was used for the restoration of Stirling Castle, notably the reconstruction of the Great Hall, including the full parapet. Historic Scotland undertook a major restoration project to return several areas of the Castle to how they might have looked in the mid-16th Century. The army had used the Great Hall as a soldiers
