The new RNLI training college at Poole required a fence to reflect the work of the lifeboats.

In conjunction with Lang+Fulton's technical office, the architect designed two different types of wave top using Roma-3 fencing with a decorative rail and 114mm CHS post.

The 2100mm fencing represents a continuous wave and the adjacent 1700mm wall-mounted fence a series of broken waves.

The project also included a standard 1700mm fence using a 50mm tubular post.

The contract comprised a total fencing length of 135m, with four double and two single gates, hot-dip galvanised and polyester powder coated for the sea-front location, with stainless steel fixings.
