Scottish Canals

Scottish Canals manages a varied property portfolio on behalf of the Scottish Government. Its primary focus for new projects is to enhance or create tourist and leisure destinations with opportunities for people to live work and play on Scotland's Canal.

Scottish Canals have had considerable success developing a new quarter at Edinburgh Quay and are working with Local Authorities, Stakeholders and the wider community to regenerate locations across the central belt, Argyll and along the length of the Great Glen.
