Clifford Jones Timber is a family business with 60 years experience, and is a leading supplier of both machine-round and naturally peeled timber, using both redwoods and whitewoods for varying applications.
Suitable for the construction of industrial, commercial and domestic landscape structures, products are also supplied to playground manufacturers. CJT has two divisions: one in Ruthin, Wales and a partner company, Hunter Wilson in Gretna, Scotland. Both provide services throughout the UK, and both sites are licensed as Arch Timber Protection centres, using Tanalith E pressure treatment..
• Machine-round timber
CJT and Hunter Wilson manufacture machine-round timber from 65 to 250mm, suitable for domestic and large-scale projects. The companies manufacture a wide selection of products, such as bollards, wall retainers, play equipment, landscape and agricultural fencing, domestic and agricultural gates, as well as products for bespoke projects. A selection of specifications are available, including chamfered, scalloped, dome-topped, dragon-toothed, weathered, drilled, sanded, routed, pointed, mortised, and rebated timber.
• Laminated timber
As a group, CJT and Hunter Wilson now offer a laminated timber range in both machine-round and square forms. These are primarily developed for architects, for use in structural and aesthetic applications.
• PostSaver®
CJT and Hunter Wilson offer the patented, BRE-approved PostSaver® sleeve for ground contact usage. Offering a 25-year guarantee, the PostSaver® can be used for both soil and concrete applications.
