The Society of Garden Designers (SGD) is the only professional association for garden designers in the UK and is dedicated to supporting, promoting and maintaining the highest quality of standards within the membership.
Through accreditation procedures, conferences, journals, regionally based training events and local networking groups, the SGD addresses current issues, engages with the wider industry and broadens the understanding and knowledge of all aspects of garden design.
All members are required to abide by a Code of Professional Conduct and Good Practice. There are currently 1,700 members of which nearly 200 are Registered Members and Fellows.
