As well as anchoring and support, trees need effective irrigation and aeration. With many traditional irrigation systems, the water is distributed unequally around the rootball and often flows vertically to the bottom of the tree pit. In response to this, Platipus developed the Piddler tree irrigation system, a special membrane that delivers water and air evenly and laterally around the rootball targeting the root zone.
