Established for over 65 years, Nusteel is one of the leading suppliers of steel bridges, gantry systems and height barriers for road and rail projects in the UK; providing complete design and build solutions to the infrastructure sector. Clients including main contractors, local authorities, National Highways and Network Rail.

Nusteel management systems are quality assured to BS EN ISO 9001:20015, and they are a registered Qualified Steelwork Contractor. (RQSC) under the British Constructional Steelwork Associations (BCSA) approval and registration scheme.

A complete design and build package is offered employing the skills of experienced project managers. That together with a professional approach provides clients with trouble free turnkey projects. Contracts vary in size and include smaller footbridges, extensive gantry projects, road and rail bridges.

Highly qualified in-house designers use the latest 3D design software to produce innovative and flexible solutions to meet project requirements. Continuously updated computer aided design (CAD) systems ensure experienced technicians deliver accurate and rapid detailing solutions.

All work is designed and made to current British and European standards, with rigorous quality control procedures. A minimum inspection regime as required by BS5400: Part 6 is adopted as default if no contract requirement applies.

Finishing is also carried out in-house. Services include, grit blasting, aluminium metal spraying, and multi-coat paint system application. Nusteel are an approved Highways Agency and Network Rail applicator. Quality assurance procedures aim at zero defects.

Installation is planned, controlled and implemented by a dedicated in-house team.
