Greenspace Designs
• Greenspace Designs Ltd have over twenty years’ experience in crafting exceptional wooden installations.
• We design, manufacture and install unique wooden accessible picnic-benches, etched seats, raised boardwalks, sign boards and interpretative wildlife trails.
• We deliver projects on a range of scales from one-off garden benches to interactive, multi-use trails incorporating wooden furniture, signs, boardwalks, platforms and bridges. Each item is unique and carefully designed to complement its natural surroundings.
• Experts in wildlife interpretation, we have many years of experience in capturing the essence of your natural green space in our carved wooden furniture.
• Our work is community centred and designed to be accessible to as wide a range of ages and abilities as practically possible. Features are designed and created by our team of artists and craftsmen. Through on-site liaison with rangers and project managers, artwork commissioned from Mike Langman and other well-known artists including Andy Turner and Mic Chambers is incorporated into trail posts, information boards, sculptures and carved furniture. We specialise in making your ideas come to life in your green space.
• We can carve timber on your site to create features or furniture or we can remove and season timber at our Devon workshops and bring back furniture made from your own wood.
• We only use sustainably sourced timbers, always from British grown trees. We make use of windblown timber and can take the timber from your site to make furniture for your visitors.
• Although we develop one off projects, we have a series of popular designs available in the Products Sheets section of our website. We can do most things so if you have an idea, why not run it by us?
• We have many years’ experience working with a diverse range of clients including: councils, wildlife trusts, AONBs, nature reserves, country parks, estates, housing developers and national parks.
