Sherborne Turf

Established in 1972 as a family business supplying the local area with turf, Sherborne Turf has since grown to encompass all aspects of gardening.

The company's turf is grown in high quality farmland which forms part of The Trent Estate, owned by the Ernest Cook Trust. The Estate is managed under schemes which help to safeguard the environment, and in keeping with this, their turf is grown without the help of netting, using a unique blend of grasses that will knit together to form a firm base.

Sherborne Turf also supplies a full range of ameliorants, all locally sourced. All topsoil is screened to 10mm and stored under cover in the winter, for delivery in bulk bags. Alternatively, loose loads are available for bulk orders, and these can be delivered using vehicles ranging from a 4-wheel tipper to an 8-wheel bulker, depending on your requirements. A wide range of composts and mulches are also available from stock for immediate despatch.
