History: Putney & Wood was established in 1991 by Barry Putney and Andy Wood, two fully qualified stone masons who met while serving their apprenticeships.
Projects: We have worked on several high profile projects for main contractors such as Wates, Skanska and Mace, and for clients such as Land Securities and The Crown Estate. Completed projects can be viewed on our website www.putneyandwood.co.uk
Accreditations: The Company is accredited with CHAS, Builders Profile, Constructionline and Achilles BuildingConfidence.
H&S: Our Contracts Managers and Site Supervisors are required to achieve the Site Safety certification, issued by Construction Skills. The Company has received the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS ) Platinum Award because 90% of our workforce is CSCS registered.
Personnel: Our site personnel are full-time, PAYE employees.
Services: Our in-house design office has PI cover and produces working drawings, cutting sheets and templates for manufacture. We also design the stonework fixings for our projects.
